DNS Setup for DreamHost

The following guide is relevant for SMTP2GO customers, who have a domain name hosted with DreamHost.

Step 1

Log in to your DreamHost Control Panel and click Manage Domains under Domains.

Step 2

Click the DNS link for the domain name you want to update.

Step 3

To create a new record, go to the section Add a custom DNS record to your desired domain.

Enter the Hostname we recommend into the Name field.
Note: You may only need to add the first part of the recommended hostname and not your full domain name to your DNS records as your provider may automatically add it.

Select the CNAME option from the Type drop-down menu.

Enter the Value that we advise for your CNAME record.

Click on the Add Record Now! button.

You can find the "Hostname/name" and "Value" on the Sending > Verified Senders > Sender domains section of your SMTP2GO Dashboard.

Repeat step 3 for each required CNAME record.
