DNS Setup for Wix

The following guide is relevant for SMTP2GO customers, who have a domain name hosted with Wix.

Step 1

Create a Sender Domain in your SMTP2GO account as per the instructions here.

Step 2

Log in to Wix. Hover over the user panel at the top right and click the Domains.

Step 3

Go to the Advanced Tab for the relevant domain and click the Edit DNS button.

Step 4

To create a DKIM record, Go to the CNAME (Aliases) Section and click the Add another button.

 

Enter the Hostname we recommend into the Host Name field.
Note: You may only need to add the first part of the recommended hostname and not your full domain name to your DNS records as your provider may automatically add it.

Enter the Value that we advise for your CNAME record into the Points to field, then click the Save DNS button.

You can find the "Hostname" and "Value" on the Sending > Verified Senders > Sender domains section of your SMTP2GO Dashboard.

Repeat step 4 for each required CNAME record.
