DNS Setup for Network Solutions

The following guide is relevant for SMTP2GO customers, who have a domain name hosted with Network Solutions.

Step 1

Log in to your Network Solutions account and go to My Domain Names within Account Manager.

Step 2

Select your desired domain name and click the Manage button. Select the Change Where Domain Points and select the Advanced DNS.

Step 3

To create a new record, click the Edit CNAME Records under the Host Aliases (CNAME Records) section.

Step 4

Enter the Hostname we recommend into the Alias field.
Note: You may only need to add the first part of the recommended hostname and not your full domain name to your DNS records as your provider may automatically add it.

Select the Other Host option and enter the Value that we advise for your CNAME record into the Other Host field.

Click the Continue button and click the Save Changes button.

You can find the "Name" and "Value" under the Settings > Sender Domains section of your SMTP2GO Dashboard.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each required CNAME record.
