DNS Setup for DNS Made Easy
The following guide is relevant for SMTP2GO customers, who have a domain name hosted with DNS Made Easy.
Step 1
Log in to the control panel of DNS Made Easy. Click Managed DNS from the DNS drop-down menu.
Step 2
Click the domain that you want to update.
Step 3
To create a DKIM record, go to the CNAME Records section and click the plus (+) symbol.
Step 4
Enter the Hostname we recommend into the Name field.
Enter the Value that we advise for your CNAME record into the Alias to field.
Note: Some customers have needed to add a period/dot "." to the end of the value to stop their domain name being appended to the end. E.g. enter "dkim.smtp2go.net.".
Leave the default TTL value.
Click on the Submit button.
You can find the "Hostname" and "Value" on the Sending > Verified Senders > Sender domains section of your SMTP2GO Dashboard.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each required CNAME record.
