Some email software comes with the option of sending more than 1 email per SMTP session. When sending multiple emails, this speeds up the sending process, as your software doesn't have to continuously connect, then send, then disconnect.
SMTP2GO has a maximum number of emails per SMTP session of 5,000 and the maximum number of simultaneous or concurrent connections is 40.
