Custom SMTP server name (use your own domain name)

Depending on your intended use, you may wish to use a subdomain at your own domain name for your account's SMTP server.

This is very easy to do - you can create a CNAME setting in your DNS which points to mail.smtp2go.com. For example, if you wanted a subdomain of smtp.yourdomain.com, then you would create a DNS record like this:

smtp.yourdomain.com --> CNAME --> mail.smtp2go.com

Please note that after making this change your mailing software may have difficulty verifying the security certificate. This is normal behavior. It can be removed by turning off security settings, but this is not recommended.
