SPF and DKIM Setup for DNS Made Easy

The following guide is relevant for SMTP2GO customers, who have a domain name hosted with DNS Made Easy.

Step 1

Log in to the control panel of DNS Made Easy. Click Managed DNS from the DNS drop-down menu.

Step 2

Click the domain that you want to update.

Step 3

To create a new SPF record, go to the SPF Records section and click the plus (+) symbol.
Note: if you already see a TXT record with a value beginning with 'v=spf1' then edit that record rather than adding a new one.

Step 4

Leave the Name field blank.

Enter the SPF record that we recommend for you into the Value field. You can find your recommended SPF record from the Sender Domains page in your SMTP2GO App.

If you are interested, take a look at some more detailed information about SPF records here.

Leave the default TTL value as 1800.

Click on the Submit button.

Step 5

To create a DKIM record, go to the CNAME Records section and click the plus (+) symbol.

Step 6

Enter the Hostname we recommend into the Name field.

Enter the Value that we advise for your CNAME record in to the Alias to field.

Leave the default TTL value.

Click on the Submit button.
